As a result, we decided to go back when we were in the middle of the whole trip which made our trip come to an end.

Although, this journey was kind of imperfect because we didn't climb up to the top of the mountain, we were still very happy with ourselves. Because participation is the most important thing when you are trying to do something. So I think the journey is meaningful to us because we gain a lot of pleasure from it.
