5.Wait for 是什么意思
wait 是个不及物动词。
不及物动词的意思就是不能直接加宾语。宾语就是这个动词动作的承受者。
就以wait为例。wait的宾语也就是“等”的对象。因为wait是不及物动词，虽然中文中可以是“等我”，但是英文中就不能直接翻译为“wait me”，因为wait是不及物动词，后面必须加上与这个动词搭配的介词才能加上宾语，而与wait搭配的介词就是for，要加宾语就要加上for，于是“等我”就应该翻译为“wait for me”而不能是“wait me”。
